Operate a mixed fleet of 40 vehicles including Mercedes, Volvo, MAN and DAF chassis

We operate over 20 daily school contracts combined with local and European private hires and tours.

Operating hours are usually between 06:30 and 18:00 for the majority of our work

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PCV Mechanic to join our team at our Long Itchington depot.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Vehicle inspections (IRTEC accreditation will be provided)

  • Routine maintenance

  • MOT preparation

  • Ad Hoc vehicle breakdown repairs 

 

Most large jobs (such as engine or gearbox replacement etc) are outsourced, the majority of our in house work is maintenance and servicing focused.

 

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience and a passion for ensuring vehicles are in top working condition.

 

While a PCV licence is preferred, we are open to providing training and a Cat D licence to the right candidate although a car licence (to enable you to drive our repair van) is essential.

 

Competitive pay rates range from £17-£21 per hour (+ Overtime), with average yearly earnings being between £44,000 and £55,000 per year, based on experience.

 

We offer flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle, with all shifts being Monday - Friday day shifts starting from as early as 06:30 and finishing as late as 18:00 with a paid lunch hour.

 

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice

The aim of this Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship programme is to equip our apprentices with the skills and knowledge to competently maintain a fleet of vehicles whilst achieving an industry recognised Level 3 qualification.

 

An apprenticeship offers a range of exciting benefits and opportunities for both personal and professional growth. It’s a hands-on

career where you can develop specialised skills in vehicle maintenance repair and inspection for public service vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability on the roads. 

Additionally, as a PCV Mechanic apprentice, you’ll earn while you learn, which means building your career without taking on student debt.

 

A 3 year course will provide you with IRTEC accreditation and industry-recognised qualifications like Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ.

 

If you have

  • GCSEs, Functional Skills or Key Skills at grade C/4 or above in English and maths (or equivalent),

  • an attention to detail

  • good communication skills

  • a strong work ethic

and are punctual and reliable, this apprenticeship could be perfect for you!

 

Vehicle Cleaner / General yard duties

 

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Vehicle Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our fleet of coaches clean, both inside and out, ensuring they are presentable and ready for service.

 

We offer flexible working hours to suit your schedule, so you can enjoy a work-life balance that works for you. 

 

All cleaning equipment will be provided, so you can focus on doing the job to the highest standards.

 

A driving licence would be preferable as part of your duties would occasionally include collecting or delivering vehicle parts locally in a company vehicle, collecting drivers from other sites etc.

 

Wages from £12 per hour
